CLEVERFOOD FOR EVERYONE: DISCOVER THE FUTURE OF FOOD
From August through January, Explorium welcomes CLEVERFOOD for Everyone — an interactive, fully bilingual English and Irish exhibition exploring the fascinating world of food.
Through hands-on exhibits and engaging activities, students can discover how food travels from production to plate, explore the choices we make as consumers, and learn how food connects our health, communities and planet. Designed for ages 8 to adult, CLEVERFOOD encourages everyone to think differently about food and discover how innovation can help create a healthier, fairer and more sustainable future.
CLEVERFOOD for Everyone is part of the EU-funded CLEVERFOOD project and the European FOOD 2030 initiative, bringing partners across Europe together to help transform food systems for people and the planet.
ROBO RIOTS: ROBOTS IN ACTION!
From August through October, some very special guests are taking over the Science Centre — the stars of Mechatrons Robot Wars!
Created by Dr. Peter Redmond and Mechatrons Technologies, these incredible robots have been built for TV, museums, live events and competitions. Meet some of Dr. Redmond’s favourite creations alongside Explorium’s much-loved robot dogs, and discover the creativity, engineering and technology that bring robots to life.

We visited explorium in Dublin and had an absolutely amazing time. I’m 24 and my partner is 30, and we honestly felt like kids again. There is so much to discover, with interactive and educational activities for all ages. We spent around €100 for two people and stayed the entire afternoon. Full of interesting science as well as fun (and exhausting if you give your full effort) activities.
This is an amazing day out that keeps the kids occupied for hours. We were in the older kids section for nearly five hours and it was hard work getting them to leave.
